Alashankou Wind Farm Project Starts

2008 November 16th, the first phase project of Alashankou Wind Farm Project got started.

Alashankou is a famous windy region in Xinjiang, China, and this wind farm project capacity is 200MW, the first phase project capacity is 49.5MW, 33 sets of 1.5MW wind turbines would be installed, and the investment will be about 520 million RMB, the first phase project will be completed by the end of October 2009.

Hefei Sungrow Power released converters for large scale wind turbine systems

Hefei Sungrow Power Company completed the development of converters for large scale wind turbine systems recently, and began mass production.

The converter is a key part of the wind turbine system, Sungrow Power's converters are able to replace the imported ones, and at present Sungrow Power are able to offer many converter models for different type wind turbine systems.

China Sunergy Tests Four New Solar Cell Production Lines

Nanjing China-based solar cell manufacturer China Sunergy (Nasdaq: CSUN) has begun testing four newly established selective emitter production lines. The total solar cell production capacity will reach 320 MW with these four production lines included.
