VESTAS Wind Power System new factory broke ground in Xuzhou China

2008 October 30th, VESTAS Wind Power System held the ground breaking ceremony for the first phase project of their production factory in Xuzhou China. The investment for the first phase project is USD 80 million.

China is the No.3 market for Vestas after Europe and USA, and Vestas is quite confident with China wind power market, and believes China will drive the global wind power equipment demand. In fact China's demand of wind power equipments has tightened the wind power equipment supply.

Denmark VESTAS is the global largest manufacturer of wind power equipment, whose products account for 23% in the global wind power market.

China Resources Power Holdings will build three 49.5MW wind power plants

2008 October 31st China Resources Power Holdings said that they have obtained government license to build three wind power plants, two in Hebei province and one in Guangdong province. Each project is 49.5MW, and the total investment is 960 million CNY.
